Winning the lottery changes her life forever…in more ways than one
One minute Brittney Jones is living paycheck to paycheck, and the next she and three friends win a record-breaking lottery jackpot. Sure, she’s spent some money on herself—after her rough childhood, she figures she deserves a few indulgences, big and small.
To financial advisor Charlie Manning, his client Brittney is a shallow beauty out to spend all of her money. He thinks she should rein it in. She thinks he should loosen up, and resolves to help him do just that—in a very naughty way.
The passion between them burns hot and fast, and Charlie comes to realize Brittney’s heart is as big as her newly fattened bank account. She’s not only smart, but beautiful and sexy. And he can’t resist her.
Still, Charlie is aware that Brittney’s keeping secrets from him. If only she would trust him enough to tell the truth!

She watched him, his efficient movements as he shuffled papers and stuffed them into a thin leather binder. It was nearing the end of the work day and his suit jacket was gone, the sleeves of his pale blue dress shirt rolled up to reveal strong forearms dusted with dark hair. His biceps bulged against the fabric of his shirt as he moved, his long fingers curling around the binder as he shoved it into a desk drawer.
Her gaze lingered on his hands. She imagined those hands smoothing over her body, touching her, stroking her, teasing between her legs. She wondered how he would be in bed. Would he be a commanding lover or gentle and tender?
She was dying to find out. Her mind had been filled with nothing but lusty thoughts of him since their last meeting. Just watching him caused her body to ache, made her cross and uncross her legs. Her panties were already damp and her nipples pebbled against the thin fabric of her dress. If he paid any attention to her, surely he would notice her state of arousal. Hell, she wanted him to notice her state of arousal. She’d been keyed up and anxious since leaving his office last week and nothing seemed to quell the ever-growing itch. Not even an extravagant round of shopping at her favorite mall.
Two days in a row.
When he saw that bill, he was gonna flip. Too bad she couldn’t tell him he was the cause of it.
What had happened to make her suddenly notice Charlie Manning? There had been something about him last week, the way she caught him watching her when he didn’t think she was looking. Those beautiful brown eyes of his had been magnified behind his glasses as they wandered along her body, a spark deep within them that said he was interested. Intrigued. Maybe even turned on.
Immediately she’d become turned on right back.
Hence the baiting of him, teasing him about his sex life. She’d really been digging for information, see if he had a girlfriend, anything serious going on. When he declared himself free and clear, she decided it wouldn’t be a bad idea to try him out. At least once, to see what he was like. She’d never done it with a number cruncher before. White-collar businessmen usually didn’t do it for her. Normally she went for the brain-dead guys. Nice and sweet and good in bed. The type of man who didn’t mind when she stopped calling him after she’d had her fill.
Would Charlie take the plunge though? He certainly seemed the cautious type—he probably never even thought of having a quickie with a client in his office. Her eyebrows rose and she tapped her index finger against her lips. Not a bad idea, a little sampling of him right here, right now. He was awfully good with numbers. Would he be just as good with her?
Brittney decided she wanted to find out.
