I’ve been brewing something up and I’ll finally be able to reveal it tomorrow. I’ll give you a hint…it doesn’t just involve me.

In other news, Playing With Fire releases tomorrow. Did you know it’s already shipping at Barnes & Noble? I just discovered this. You can find it at Amazon and Borders too. Whee! I’m excited about this book. And there just might be a few chances to win a copy later this week. Watch for more on that very, very soon.

Hodge podge post – here’s the Halloween cookie pictures I promised you. Better a day late then never, right?
My black frosting turned out more purplish-gray. Oh well…
They were gone in days – like two days probably. Though we didn’t make as many as we usually do but still.
Okay and starting today I’m participating in NaNo.

As in, I just took one last week and I’m going to take another one this week. My kids were off school all this last week and it was just nuts around here. But I think I’m going to shut this sucker down and turn it into more of a “news and events” type page (I’m totally copying Ann Aguirre – she did this with her blog and I keep thinking that is a GREAT idea). I’ll post latest releases, coming soon or whatever type of news but that’s it.
I have too much to do and not enough time. If I want to get the writing in I need to drop a few things and the blog looks like it’s going bye bye. At least for now.
Working on Eric’s story from Scandalous. I have gotten so many poor reviews for it – and I’m not complaining, I know exactly why y’all are disappointed in the story. But guess what? Eric is going to get his happy ending I promise! He’s giving me fits, though. Just sayin’.
Halloween is coming up – my favorite holiday! Lots going on – I might post again later this week when we make the Halloween cookies because I do that every year (2007 here, 2008 here and 2009 here).
Anyone want to share what’s going on with them? Talk to me – make me feel not so lonely here.

So the power went out at midnight Sunday (well Monday) and stayed out till 11 a.m. which is a long time to be without power (i.e. internet). Threw off my entire Monday. Didn’t get much writing done though I did straighten up the house and make a run to Target…

This is the second novella in the Fated series. Don’t have official blurbage yet but I will soon. This comes out from Samhain on December 21st!
Anything else going on? It’s raining here. Lightning storms is what killed our power but no lightning this morning. Just rain. Yay for rain! Feels like fall is finally here.

Hi, it’s October 1st. Yeah, I know can you believe it? Time sure does fly. Oh wait, you can’t believe it because it’s so sizzling HOT outside? I know, right? I mean come on. Fall’s official arrival was last Wednesday. Now we’re suffering through a week of 100+ or close enough temperatures. I’m sorry but it sure doesn’t feel like fall to me.
Autumn please show up. I’m begging you and I don’t like to beg but please. I’m so sick of the heat (okay I really can’t complain it’s been a rather mild summer for us but still). I want cool, crisp air and falling leaves and I want to smell that first hint of rain…
Plus when it’s so blessed hot outside I don’t really like to drink my favorite drink – the Pumpkin Spice Latte. Yes it’s PSL time! Let’s see how many hits I get this year on the blog every time I mention it. Oh PSL, how I do love thee.
In other news it’s October 1st and I *just* realized I have a novella due in two months. A category length book due by the end of the year (though I’d love to turn it in sooner). Another novella type thingy I promised to a certain editor and oh yeah, that super secret project I’ve been working on with my agent. I need to finish slapping it into shape. Crap. I just freaked myself out.

I’m on it, I’ve been on FB for quite a while but I’ve finally caved in to peer pressure and started a fan page or like page or whatever the heck they’re calling it these days.
