My friend and fellow diva Kristen has opened up a store on Etsy! Yay! I love Etsy. Have you been there? I swear I’m going to do LOTS of Christmas shopping there. And Kristen’s store is one that I’m going to hit.

I don’t like to talk politics much on my blog because ya know…no one really cares what I think right? But I have to admit I watched last night’s debate with great interest (and we recorded it on the DVR so we could pause it and discuss - lots of pausing and discussing going on).
I thought both of them spoke well. I thought both of them made valid points. My husband especially liked Biden’s big grin. It was pretty big.
More than anything I kept thinking about Tina Fey. And how hilarious her parodies of Sarah are. Is she going to do it again this weekend? I really hope so.

Okay I’m all over the place with this post today. First, I’m over at Naughty & Spice today promoting Hidden. There’s even a new excerpt over there so check it out!
Second, I made enchiladas last night from the Pioneer Woman’s recipe. Only I modified it a bit, used chicken instead of beef, and a few other tweaks. OMG those enchiladas were soooo good. My entire family loved them, I loved them, I think I might want to marry them. Check the recipe out.
Third, there’s a workshop going on at Passionate Ink next week. Since I’m the workshop chair, I’d like to remind you about it. It’s gonna be a good one! Here’s more info after the jump…

I have entered the reality zone after returning from the RWA conference in San Francisco.
What this means is endless laundry, a messy house and trying to figure out what to cook for dinner. Ugh.
So…I had grand plans on giving away a downloadable copy of my new book Shadow (Cobblestone Press) today but I think I’m going to do it tomorrow. But! If you comment today you will be entered as well.
How cool is that? Pretty damn cool.
By the way I met awesome people (I shall share pix), had a great time and tortured my feet. My feet now hate me with a passion.

That’s what I’m doing come Tuesday. Hopping on that little plane for a measly hour flight to San Francisco!
Hey, it was cheaper than driving and parking (gah the parking!). I only wish for my car so I can cram it full of clothes, shoes and on my return home, books.
Oh, well.

I found this pretty little sign tonight at Target when I had to go pick up antibiotics for my son who was just diagnosed with strep throat. Ugh. But that’s another story…

In other news Paradise is burning. Why do I care? Well my oldest was born there. I lived there for about four years in the early ’90s and lemme tell ya, in the summertime I freaked. That place is a fire hazard waiting to happen. Being a firefighter’s daughter, well, you get paranoid about that stuff. So I hope everyone is okay and not too many homes are lost…
