I’m planning my daughter’s birthday party and I happened upon this site – well Hostess with the Mostess talked about her and oh my, she does beautiful work.

I’m a tad fascinated with them at the moment. I’m trying to buy up stuff with birds on them. Or at least look at stuff I can buy with birds on them. But I just don’t want any bird, oh no. It has to look a certain way.
Like these birdies! Oooh such pretty paper. It’s from K&Company – part of the Mira collection.
I don’t scrapbook anymore – I don’t have the time and it makes me feel guilty. Sigh. But I found this awesome little project that requires scrapbooking stuff to make the project pretty pretty and so I stumbled upon the Mira collection at Michael’s.
And proceeded to buy so much of it I had a moment of stunned silence when the salesperson gave me the total of my purchase.
But I didn’t spot the above paper! And now I WANT IT. Sigh. I think I need to go back to Michael’s.
What are you liking right now? Any projects planned for the summer?
p.s. — If my project turns out cute (and with the Mira collection I don’t see how it wouldn’t but we’ll see. I have been known to screw things up royally) I’ll share pics. I swear.
