This is my second year making a December Daily album. It’s so much fun and such a great way to record a month (well, 25 days since my album tracks December 1st – 25th) that is so full of activities. In fact, by creating a page for every single day leading up to December it forces me to be more creative which is such a benefit. It makes December even more fun!
I’ll be honest – December is usually stressful for me. Come on, I’m the mom, I’m in charge of the entire Christmas. We usually host the Christmas day celebration (we’re not this year which is a huge stress relief for me). I’m looking forward to this holiday season more than I have in a long time.
In fact, my 7 year old daughter is making an album along with me! She’s so creative. We can’t wait to get started. And we’re getting started today.
On a side note – can you believe it’s December? Where did the year go?

Hope everyone has a lovely holiday. I won’t be around much hence the Thanksgiving wishes now.
I have pet (wild – they live with our chickens, it’s a good deal what they have going on at our place) turkeys and they are getting so fat. Luckily enough I’m not eating them for dinner. Ha ha ha.

In other holiday themed news, they’re already playing Christmas music on my local radio station (crazy). I’ve started Christmas shopping and the end is near, I can see it. Thanksgiving is next week and I’m not hosting it which means I’m not stressed out. Yay!

Hodge podge post – here’s the Halloween cookie pictures I promised you. Better a day late then never, right?
My black frosting turned out more purplish-gray. Oh well…
They were gone in days – like two days probably. Though we didn’t make as many as we usually do but still.
Okay and starting today I’m participating in NaNo.

It’s been so nutty around here we haven’t even had a chance to do this:
We always carve pumpkins! Oh well. We’re going to a Halloween party tonight and trick or treating tomorrow. Maybe if I feel up to it I’ll gut a few pumpkins in the afternoon and we can carve. But I doubt it. Ha! At least I know my limits.
