I love buying craft supplies. For instance, I recently went to Michael’s and snapped up six Halloween/fall rubber stamps for $1 apiece. Will I use them?
Probably not.
Sigh. I have a problem. I love, love, LOVE craft stuff. I buy craft stuff with great hopes that I’ll get crafty. Or I’ll scrapbook. Yes! I have such grand plans to scrapbook! And make cute things that I’ll look at years from now and think to myself, “I’m so glad I did/made that.”
Yeah right. I have grand hopes and illusions but my follow-through is for crap.
So there’s a class that interests me and I’m thinking that if I actually plunked down the money and listened to the wise words and gentle guidance of Ali Edwards, that I might actually scrapbook. The class is a huge chunk of change though. But it’s Ali! Do you visit her blog? It’s so awesome. She is wonderfully talented and I love looking at her photos. Sigh. What to do what to do.
What should I do? I think the class will be awesome. I know Ali is awesome. But will I be awesome and really commit to the class? Or be a big flake and waste money and end up being angry with myself.
HELP ME.
Happy Labor Day weekend! Thank goodness for three day weekends. They help keep my insanity (barely) intact.
p.s. – I had my first PSL of the season and it was deee-lish. And someone found my blog via the keywords Pumpkin Spice Latte Blog. Damn it, there should be a PSL blog! That would be awesome! Please people keep coming to my site. Let’s keep talking about the PSL. I have strong, mad, crazy love for the PSL…

It’s celebrate because it’s full of celebrations! My daughter’s birthday is on the eighth and mine is on the tenth. My sister-in-law’s is on the nineteenth (hi Kim!). Valentine’s Day, well, we don’t make a big deal of it but hey, let’s celebrate! So yes, that is my word of the month. To let loose, have fun and celebrate.
I turn 39. I need to make the most of this year, the last in my thirties. Then it’s the big 4-0. My gosh! I remember when my mom turned 40 and I thought, oh she’s so old. Ha ha ha ha. Shame on me.
So here’s my heart wreath:
It’s not perfect, I see a few places where I messed up. Note to self: never use glue gun when children are running around you, jostling you and freaking you out. You make rash movements you regret later. Like placing hearts in the wrong spot. Oh well. I’m adding a rick-rak loop and hanging that baby up. Happy V Day to me!

To get crafty and make this:
Instructions are here.
Mine did not turn out as pretty as hers. I think the glue gun threw me a bit, lol. Lousy glue gun. It just kept dripping out, making a mess! Plus my choice of paper was kind of pale. I didn’t take a photo yet because it’s still drying. I’ll share it tomorrow.
Sigh. So what are you up to this weekend? I’m cleaning and trying to be crafty.
