The weather is weird (as in bitterly cold) and the power went out last night – for six hours! The gods were planning against me to not write, I swear.

So for the next few days I’m going to write like the wind. I hope. Wish me luck!

I used to not like Gretchen but now I think she’s one of the sanest of the bunch. Minus her rant on Lynne. And minus the fact that Slade is her boyfriend. Lauri on a past season’s episode said it best: “Slade wants to be one of the housewives.” TOTALLY.

I actually like Lynne and she drove me crazy last season. I don’t think she’s a very strong parent. In fact, she let’s those girls run right over her. But I like how ditzy she is. There’s something about that ditziness I find…endearing.

The new housewife, Alexis. Oh my. Her husband is a piece of work. If my husband talked to me the way hers does, I’d tell him to shove it. But she seems to like it. And he keeps her in designer clothes and expensive diamond jewelry so it works for them.

I could go on and on but don’t want to bore you. Later tonight after the kids are in bed I’m watching it. Whoo hoo! Until next season ladies!

And I’m so wrapped up in Twitter’s embrace it’s scary. She has a firm hold on me and TweetDeck just makes it so easy to hang out there. Sigh. This is why I rarely went to Twitter. It’s not like I don’t get work done but man. Twitter is addictive! It’s like chitty-chatting with your friends all day.

Nothing much else going on. Rain is coming. It’s super windy here right now and sunny but the sun is a tease. She’ll disappear soon and bring the rain. I kinda want spring to come. We need the rain but I’m growing weary. A warm sunny day sounds wonderful.

Blossoms are already appearing on trees in this area like the pic above. So pretty…

What’s going on with you? Anything cool?

– It’s sunny today. It’ll rain tomorrow. Bleh.

– Something’s wrong with my neck. It hurts. I think I’m sleeping funky.

– The Real Housewives of OC is almost over, I can sense it. And I’m sad. I love that show!

– I have a pile of books that just came via the UPS man. And there are a few new ebooks waiting to be read via my iTouch. But I haven’t started any of them because of the above revision project. Wah.

– Have I mentioned we have wild turkeys for pets? Four of them hang out with our chickens. It’s cool.

– It’s almost Friday – yay!
