Read Me for Christmas!

2:41 pm • Filed under: holiday fun,Writing

As in…read the various Christmas-themed stories I’ve written throughout the years. Goodness, I’ve written quite a few. I do love Christmas, there is no denying it.

Want to read me for FREE? Then check these titles out!

AllIWant4Christmas72LG[1]

Waitress Holly Watson wants frequent customer and super hottie Seth Manning for Christmas. Will he make her holiday wishes come true?

Click here to read it for FREE.

Next up is Hot Santa, a sexy (but not erotic) little story I wrote a few years ago.

Click on the cover to start reading!

Megan can’t believe her best friend dragged her to the Ho Ho Hot Santa contest. It’s beyond embarrassing with all of the muscled men flaunting their goods in red velvet shorts and Santa hats. Then Megan spies Drew on stage and thinks he fills out his shorts just fine. He’s gorgeous, he’s sweet – is he the Christmas gift she’s been looking for?

This story ties in with my book Santa Baby so if you want to find out Beverly’s story, it’s available at Cobblestone Press.

You can also check out A Very Sexy Christmas on Amazon (only 99 cents!) and Fairies and Wishes (an oldie but a goodie!).

Fun Announcement Tomorrow!

12:43 pm • Filed under: New book fun!,Writing

I’ve been brewing something up and I’ll finally be able to reveal it tomorrow. I’ll give you a hint…it doesn’t just involve me.

Ha! That wasn’t a very helpful hint now was it?

In other news, Playing With Fire releases tomorrow. Did you know it’s already shipping at Barnes & Noble? I just discovered this. You can find it at Amazon and Borders too. Whee! I’m excited about this book. And there just might be a few chances to win a copy later this week. Watch for more on that very, very soon.

I’m a big ol’ tease today huh?

Halloween Cookies & NaNo

11:16 am • Filed under: holiday fun,Writing

Hodge podge post – here’s the Halloween cookie pictures I promised you. Better a day late then never, right?

My black frosting turned out more purplish-gray. Oh well…

They were gone in days – like two days probably. Though we didn’t make as many as we usually do but still.

Okay and starting today I’m participating in NaNo.

I’m crazy like that monkey. Are you participating in NaNo? I’m karenerickson there so look for me, add me as a writing buddy. And good luck!

Blogging Break?

9:02 pm • Filed under: holiday fun,Writing

As in, I just took one last week and I’m going to take another one this week. My kids were off school all this last week and it was just nuts around here. But I think I’m going to shut this sucker down and turn it into more of a “news and events” type page (I’m totally copying Ann Aguirre – she did this with her blog and I keep thinking that is a GREAT idea). I’ll post latest releases, coming soon or whatever type of news but that’s it.

I have too much to do and not enough time. If I want to get the writing in I need to drop a few things and the blog looks like it’s going bye bye. At least for now.

Working on Eric’s story from Scandalous. I have gotten so many poor reviews for it – and I’m not complaining, I know exactly why y’all are disappointed in the story. But guess what? Eric is going to get his happy ending I promise! He’s giving me fits, though. Just sayin’.

Halloween is coming up – my favorite holiday! Lots going on – I might post again later this week when we make the Halloween cookies because I do that every year (2007 here, 2008 here and 2009 here).

Anyone want to share what’s going on with them? Talk to me – make me feel not so lonely here.

My Favorite Mistake Available

9:46 am • Filed under: Writing

My Favorite Mistake is now available from Samhain Publishing.

Somebody’s sleeping in her bed…

A Tahoe Nights story.

There’s only one way for busy PR executive Julie Lancaster to get her mother off her back—cave in and take a weekend break at the family cabin in Tahoe. After all, Mom won’t know she’s sneaking her laptop along to get a little work done.

Not only the cabin is a blast from the past, so is the occupant of her bedroom. Tyler Nichols, a guy she remembers as quiet and nerdy… nothing like the drop-dead-gorgeous hunk who knows how to fill out his underwear.

One look at all-grown-up Julie refuels Tyler’s memories of long, lazy summer vacations, and the crush he was too shy to admit. It would be gentlemanly of him to leave, but the amazing woman in front of him elicits visions of the wickedly lusty things he’d like to do with her.

With work pushed to the back burner and a weekend indulging with Tyler on high simmer, Julie makes a startling discovery. Tyler is the real deal. And maybe, if he agrees, she might have time for a life after all…

Check out an excerpt here and here.
