Okay I’m all over the place with this post today. First, I’m over at Naughty & Spice today promoting Hidden. There’s even a new excerpt over there so check it out!
Second, I made enchiladas last night from the Pioneer Woman’s recipe. Only I modified it a bit, used chicken instead of beef, and a few other tweaks. OMG those enchiladas were soooo good. My entire family loved them, I loved them, I think I might want to marry them. Check the recipe out.
Third, there’s a workshop going on at Passionate Ink next week. Since I’m the workshop chair, I’d like to remind you about it. It’s gonna be a good one! Here’s more info after the jump…

I’m going to admit this - and it’s embarrassing. Don’t laugh. Don’t make fun of me. But I love this song.
I can’t help it. I loved this song when it first came out and I still do. Yeah. I do. And I think the video is cool too. So sue me.

My daughter now provides a great service. I no longer need to visit the Queen Bee Nail Salon when I’m looking for a foot and leg massage.
Now if only I could get her to use a steadier hand when she paints my toenails I’d be set. And saving a ton of money in pedicure expenses…

Swingtown. And at first, I thought it was a little boring. But since I had nothing else to watch, I figured I would soldier on and give it a chance.
I’m glad.
The uptight couple has become a little less uptight. The swinging couple gave up swinging for hmm, about one and a half episodes. The main couple well - I’ve decided the husband gets on my damn nerves and I hope she dumps him. Ha!
Ah yes Grant Show. Remember him from Melrose Place (he played Jake)? Now I was completely and totally addicted to Melrose. Those were good times! This isn’t quite on that level but I’m enjoying it. He’s my favorite character. That droopy mustache and the polyester clothing - kinda sexy huh? I can’t even believe I’m saying that.
Do you watch Swingtown? It’s pretty swingin’. Shockingly swinging (they go to sex clubs! they swap partners! they smoke pot! they had a threesome!). At least it’s holding my interest. And isn’t reality TV (though I watch that too).

I have entered the reality zone after returning from the RWA conference in San Francisco.
What this means is endless laundry, a messy house and trying to figure out what to cook for dinner. Ugh.
So…I had grand plans on giving away a downloadable copy of my new book Shadow (Cobblestone Press) today but I think I’m going to do it tomorrow. But! If you comment today you will be entered as well.
How cool is that? Pretty damn cool.
By the way I met awesome people (I shall share pix), had a great time and tortured my feet. My feet now hate me with a passion.

That’s what I’m doing come Tuesday. Hopping on that little plane for a measly hour flight to San Francisco!
Hey, it was cheaper than driving and parking (gah the parking!). I only wish for my car so I can cram it full of clothes, shoes and on my return home, books.
Oh, well.

That’s me. There is a lot going on in this house and I won’t bore you with details but let me just tell you how freaked I am that I’m leaving in a week for San Francisco. Good lord! I’m not prepared whatsoever.
