As in I’ve been a terrible blogger yet again. Life has just been a tad crazy around here right now. Writing-wise I kicked butt on Monday only to have all of those words disappear come Tuesday morning. Just *poof* and they were gone. Now it’s slow going gaining them back…
The weather is weird (as in bitterly cold) and the power went out last night – for six hours! The gods were planning against me to not write, I swear.
So for the next few days I’m going to write like the wind. I hope. Wish me luck!

Here she is up for an Oscar this evening and yet she won a Razzie for worst actress for her work in All About Steve. And she went to the Razzie ceremony to accept her award! She even brought DVD copies of the movie for everyone in the audience so they could check out her performance.

Watch it. It’s funny. And it shows she has a sense of humor about herself. Makes me want her to win that Oscar tonight. You go girl! Fingers crossed!
Anyone else watching the Oscars tonight? I will. Unless my husband gets his grubby hands on the remote…

That’s me. But I’ve been heavily involved in revisions. Finished one project last week, started a new revisions project yesterday! It’s non stop around here.
And I’m so wrapped up in Twitter’s embrace it’s scary. She has a firm hold on me and TweetDeck just makes it so easy to hang out there. Sigh. This is why I rarely went to Twitter. It’s not like I don’t get work done but man. Twitter is addictive! It’s like chitty-chatting with your friends all day.
Nothing much else going on. Rain is coming. It’s super windy here right now and sunny but the sun is a tease. She’ll disappear soon and bring the rain. I kinda want spring to come. We need the rain but I’m growing weary. A warm sunny day sounds wonderful.
Blossoms are already appearing on trees in this area like the pic above. So pretty…

– I’m thisclose to being done with a huge revision project. I see the light at the end of the tunnel – and the book is waaaay better. Squee! Hope the editor likes it…
– It’s sunny today. It’ll rain tomorrow. Bleh.
– Something’s wrong with my neck. It hurts. I think I’m sleeping funky.
– The Real Housewives of OC is almost over, I can sense it. And I’m sad. I love that show!
– I have a pile of books that just came via the UPS man. And there are a few new ebooks waiting to be read via my iTouch. But I haven’t started any of them because of the above revision project. Wah.
– Have I mentioned we have wild turkeys for pets? Four of them hang out with our chickens. It’s cool.
– It’s almost Friday – yay!

I’ve been doing it a lot this week. I quit for quite a while because I felt it was too much of a distraction. Well, it’s still a distraction but I believe it’s one I have more under control. I think. Let’s see how long I last…

I’m wishing you early because well, Valentine’s Day is on Sunday and I don’t usually blog on Sunday. And I’ve been pretty busy what with all the birthdays and now the Valentine’s party at my son’s class and my daughter’s party…I’ve baked enough cookies and cupcakes to probably fill a bakery.
