I still heart Adam Lambert even if he did offend all of America with his antics on the AMA show. I felt his performance was a little over the top, like he wanted to scream at everyone, “IN YO’ FACE!” but I forgive him. The boy wants to shock and stay on everyone’s lips and he sure did that now didn’t he?
Here’s his sexxx-ay video for For Your Entertainment. This is not my favorite song on the album. It’s okay but it doesn’t make me go OMG that was HAWT. But the video’s fun and he’s pretty…
I stumbled upon his album today at Amazon for a super price of $3.99. I thought that was a deal. Considering I had a coupon code to save $3 on a MP3 download, I got his album for a mere 99 cents.
The coupon code is MP34FREE and it expires on Monday, November 30. A free $3 code – RUN to Amazon now, people. It’s just too awesome to pass up. I *heart* free.
Yeah, that’s awesome.

It’ll be announced Monday and let me tell you, it’s a good one. Like involving jewelry and we all love jewelry, right?? Come back Monday and check it out!
I’ll leave you with my latest favorite song. Oh, it’s an oldie but a goodie. I had no clue it was so old – like almost 30 years old! Damn it I’m getting old. I remember seeing this video on MTV waaaaaaay back in the day. Back when MTV actually played music videos and nothing else. That was a long time ago.
It’s by Split Enz – One Step Ahead. I stumbled upon it last weekend while searching for another song by Split Enz. I realized I liked this one way better. Enjoy! Don’t judge if you hate it. It’s pure 80s music and I’m sorry, but I’m a product of the 80s and proud of it. Ha!

I love this song so much by Kings of Leon. Just wanted to share.
The official video’s embedding has been disabled. Boo! But this is still a good version. Enjoy and happy weekend!

Back in the day when I worked outside the home, me and my friend/coworker Marisa would listen to some streaming “radio” station on the internetz in our office. It played super cool, mellow music with all sorts of songs I loved, loved, loved. And was never able to find. Sigh. This was back in like 2001/2002 when iTunes wasn’t making my life easier so I just dealt with it.
And thought of those songs off and on ever since. Stumbling upon one here and there throughout the years, last night I hit freaking paydirt. I snapped up at least ten songs and this one below is my absolute favorite:
There are four or five videos for this song on YouTube. Weird man, I have no clue which one is “official,” but this one has a Matrix type feel to it. I lurve this song. It’s six minutes but to me, well worth a listen.
I love when I get stuck on a song. I love finding lots of good songs. Music puts me in a good mood.
What’s your favorite song right now?

Sooo there was this song I always loved – one of the first videos I ever saw on MTV. As time went on I forgot who sang it but every time I watched Sixteen Candles (OMG I love that movie), I heard it. Just barely. That scene where Samantha is passing the sex survey to her sleeping friend in study hall and the hot Jake Ryan grabs it instead? Yeah that song is playing faintly in the background. (it’s so sad I can describe that scene like that. A testament to how many times I’ve seen it)
It’s called Happy Birthday. And you could’ve knocked me over with a feather when I heard it on the kids show Yo Gabba Gabba.
Redone by the Ting Tings no less! Unbelievable! So I searched around and figured out who sang the original. Altered Images.
And here they are:
This video is SO FREAKING 80′S. I love it. I want to go watch Sixteen Candles. Now. Long live Long Duck Dong!
ps — Happy Saint Patrick’s Day! Have a green beer for me…

Robin Thicke does it for me again. Damn I love this song.
My favorite line is: “I would just drive my big old car, and everything would be alright…”
