It’s out! Unbelievable! After a week plus of rain (which we need, I’m not complaining, really I’m not) and then yesterday’s gloomy fog, today the sun is shining. The chickens are happy, the cats are rolling around on the concrete and I made some sort of peanut butter cookie bar thing with chocolate on top. For my kids when they get home from school.
Yeah. Really. For my kids. And me, okay! I’ll have a nibble or two, I’m sure.
Plus the writing is going well, I’m working on another revision project that’s moving along and I’ve made a few calls for my kids’ Valentine’s Day party at school (I’m the room mom). Only thing I need to do that I’m dreading? CLEAN. Blech.

It’s 21 degrees,windy and partly cloudy here. I planned on making chocolate chip cookies today, but those cookie bars sound good. Do you want to share the recipe?

We have plenty of sunshine here in NZ. It’s horribly humid at the moment and hard to sleep in the heat.
