If you haven’t stopped by and entered yet, my week long contest started with Monday’s post and then there’s yesterday’s post.
What am I giving away today? A print copy of the book Glamorous Garnet from Ellora’s Cave, featuring my novella Virgin Jewels along with six other fabulous stories by six fabulous authors.

I went back to work yesterday after the holidays so today is my 2nd day back at work and I am just trying to catch up on all the business emails and the other work that has piled up over the last 3 weeks !

we have a snow storm that is suppose to hit us tonight so today I’m batten down the hatches lol. by that I mean tying down everything as they say wind will be a factor , running to the store cause I seriously get snowed in easy. 2 snowflakes and I’m done

Meanwhile, I was out of toilet paper, kleenex, milk and bread, so I ventured to the store this AM, but I’m in for the rest of the day, doing not much of anything.

Just playing on the computer and then I have to go to the grocery story because I have to go back to work tomorrow. I don’t have anything to take for my lunch if I don’t go and I have to get ready for the big snow storm that’s coming our way. I hope it misses us because I hate driving in the snow.

I am going to the Dollar Store b/c somewhere along the way I lost my 1 cup measuring cup for dry ingredients. I will also do some more decluttering in the craft room.

Cleaning; our sink was out of commission yesterday, so today I’m catching up on dishes and all that other stuff!

This is what it’s been like at my house since my kids got home from school. Today i had my 2 grandkids as well as my youngest. First thing this morn I had to go get fuel oil as we run out and our delivery isn’t until Friday, hope what I got lasts. Then I put on a pot of beans and pork to cook. Then I did dishes and laundry, ran out to do do errands 3 times and made 2 trips to wallmart. Served supper and then treated my kids to a yummy dessert of brownie topped with icecream and an Andes mint. Then I sent everyone of my 8 to bed and now I’m quickly on the web and bed.

My typical day is spent in front of the computer … writing, writing, writing. This is usually a pretty busy time of year for me.
