I don’t always fall in love with characters when I write them (though it does happen quite often, trust me) but man, I really enjoyed writing this one. It brings a smile to my face just thinking about it and I wrote this a little over two years ago. Such fun! But who doesn’t love an older woman/younger man story?
So answer me this: What is the oldest/youngest combination you’ve ever seen with a couple you know? You don’t have to get specific, we don’t want to name names or anything but yeah, let’s dish. I’m two years older than my husband. No biggie but he sure loves pointing out that I’m that much older than him. The jerk. LOL

I have a friend who is dating a guy who is over 10 years younger than she is, and two of my friends married men 10+ years older than they are. So a bigger age difference is nothing new to me anymore.

A friend of mine dated a man that was 20 years older than she was. I dated a man that was 3 years younger than I am and he liked to point out that I was older than him.

My husband’s brother married a girl who was 30 years old at the time. He was 70. Needless to say, they ended up divorced. She said she wanted someone she could grow old with. His reply was, “You knew how old I was when you married me!”

Hum, well my first year in college I dated my chem lab partner who was 18 years older! Only two dates, but that counts right. I think that is the oldest I know of. I am two years older than my husband. Everyone thinks he is older!lol, so I let them think that too!!

My spouse is 7 years older, my sisters is 10. I’ve known several women who have married people 20 – 25 years older. Unfortunately they have not had many years of quality time together.

I ‘went’ with a guy who was in his 60′s when I was 31 or so. It didn’t last all that long.

A friend of my husband divorced and married a woman 15 years younger than himself but it only lasted for 5 years before she left him !

Hmm… not sure what combination is the most I’ve heard–probably something like 20 years. Among friends, it’s more like 8 years. I’m just a smidge older than my husband, and he enjoys teasing me about it that entire month

Here’s a little odd FYI. MY mom is 5 years older than her 2nd husband. I too am 5 yrs older than my 2nd husband. Anyway I enjoy books were the woman is older.
