Luck of the Draw comes out tomorrow – my first all me print release! It’s a three novella anthology about friends who won the lottery together and how they found love.

In celebration of my book coming out (you can find it at Amazon, Barnes & Noble and Borders), I’m giving away one copy to one lucky commenter on this post. And for the rest of the week, I’m giving away books. Print books! Yes, indeed, I’m giving away a copy of Better With Age (featuring my story Too Tempting) and Glamorous Garnet (featuring my novella Virgin Jewels) and I’m giving away a copy of my friend Red Garnier’s debut book The Satin Sash (oooh la la is this a hot one!).
Watch the blog all week for the give aways! It’s all building up to the release of Tangled on January 12th – the second book in my Playing With Fire series. It’s busy here in January – I’m kicking the year off right!
So tell me – do you have any resolutions or goals for the new year? I’m going to post mine later this week since I’m still working on them but I vow to have them up by Friday. Tell me what your goals or resolutions are. Tell me you don’t believe in them, that’s fine (most of the time I don’t make resolutions because I always fail).
One comment per person please. Winners will be announced on this blog this Saturday. Good luck!

Congratulations on your release, Karen!! *fan girl squeel!!!* So excited this is coming out. I found you this year as a new-to-me author and really enjoying your books.
As far as new year resolutions, I have failed in the past when I set up a set number of weight loss in a period of time. This time I’m concentrating on healthy solutions. Like eating more vegetables, less meat, less carbs, and less alcohol. Also, more walking and more ballroom dancing.
Natasha A. says:
I don’t really do resolutions. I think that is a set up to fail. I do however want to change my eating and exercise habits. Lifestyle changes. I have already started actually
I have lost about 5lbs since November. And I am very happy with that!
cyclops8 says:
Congrats on your first print release. My resolution is pretty much the same from last year. I want to be more health conscious, watch what I eat and exercise more regularly.
Fedora says:
Huge congrats on Luck of the Draw–I love books in print
My perennial goal is to declutter–I’m such a packrat, and it’s driving my husband slowly insane
It’s such a slow, tedious, painful process though, because I have such a hard time just cutting it all loose. My husband occasionally jokes about renting a dumpster, and just hucking everything out the window
We’ll see how it goes! A new year, a new start!
Leni says:

When I get shot down by my friend/neigbour I want to say back to her that I didn’t like what she said/implied instead of just leaving it b/c it isn’t just left as I stew over it after and dh gets to hear all about it. So I resolve to become more assertive this year.

I use to think of resolutions, but realized I never actually succeed at them. So, now I just decide to live my life everyday and not on year to year things I might want to change but never really do. Congratulations on your new release.
