I am grateful that although I have cancer, it’s thyroid cancer which is very treatable and I’m partway through treatment!

Hi Karen !
A BIG congratulations on your new release, Forbidden…how exciting!

As a 1 1/2 breast cancer survivor, I’ve come to be thankful for not only the bigger things in life…such as life itself and my wonderful family, etc. but the smaller things too…like hair, eye-lashes, eye-brows…and good books, LOL.
Just SO many things, big and small to be thankful for, like the lovely necklace you’re giving away : )

I am thankful for the life that I have been given (the ups and downs), my family and friends and my kitties. I have been truly blessed in so many ways so many times in my 51 years.

I’m thankful that my brother was not among the soldiers injured/killed in the attack at Fort Hood in Texas. (Thoughts and prayers sent to those families.) Bill, was stationed at Ft. Hood for 3 years. He was at home when the attack happened.

I have family members and close friends who proudly serve(d) in each branch of the Armed Forces. I am thankful for all their service and sacrifices they have made (or are making) so that we Americans can live safe and free.

God Bless and Keep our American Troops safe!

I remember reading about Nie and the airplane accident. How excited you must be about the upcoming book release! I wish you much success with it. First, I am thankful to be alive in this wonderful country of ours. Even if the economy and our country isn’t in the best of shape right now, it is still the best country in the world to me! My dad is 91 and a veteran of WWII. I am very proud of him and all service men and women. Freedom is not free and I am ever so thankful for it. Blessings, Cindi
