Now I have a sore throat and it hurts like a mother. So I’m laying low and just chillin’ (cos I’m illin’ – and I’m a poet and I didn’t know it). But I have stuff to do – things to plan for my daughter’s upcoming birthday party (next Saturday – ack!). Sigh…

Good news is I just signed a new contract with Samhain for a short novella I wrote called Jesse’s Girl. Yep, it’s a story based a little bit on the song. Yay! It should come out sometime around August? Hopefully?

   Feel better soon! I was such a hair metal girl in the 80s, but I remember skating to this song, and it makes me so happy every time I hear it!
