I made an early one. You see, late last year I earned a giant turkey breast from the supermarket and I immediately tossed it in the freezer. Well, almost a year later I decided to make it for dinner.
I was worried. Would it be yuck? And OMG it was waaay bigger than I thought, how long is this thing gonna need to cook?
Well never fear it was delicious. Kind of like a pre-run before the actual big day. Which I am hosting but not panicking over this year. I got a break last year so this time around, I’m actually a little excited. I’m trying out new recipes and everything!
Why don’t we eat turkey more often? It’s good stuff!

I was never a turkey fan when I ate meat. Now that I’m a vegetarian I don’t have to eat it. problem solved!

I like turkey a lot, but Hotrod isn’t such a fan. I try to sneak ground turkey into things when I can, but making a whole bird for 2 people isn’t practical. I can’t wait for Thanksgiving when I get to eat my fill!

I’d eat turkey a couple times a year for sure. Hubby barbecues it on the Weber. Yummy, crispy wings. But he’s not too crazy about it, and the kid won’t eat it at all.

I love turkey. I think we don’t eat it often because it takes along time to cook.

Oops,I meant to say it takes a long time to cook.

I know I lurve me some turkey. I have it quite often. It’s actually easier on my stomach than chicken.
Okay, now I’m craving turkey. Thanks a lot and Happy Thanksgiving. ((Hugs))

Love your tabletop photo! I won’t be doing any baking that can’t be done in my microwave/convection oven this year. My oven ran for greener pastures some time ago.
