I couldn’t believe it when I found out but that sweetie Kim over at Devilish Southern Belle honored me with a blog award! I’ve never received one. I kinda feel like I’m part of the cool kids club. Now I get to pass on the love to five of my favorite bloggers. Yay!
Here we go:
Kristen Painter, for being not only a tall, gorgeous blonde full of wit but also for being such a sweetheart and a true inspiration. I read her blog every day without fail and love how pushy she is. Seriously, I need it, she makes me want to write! Because I don’t want to disappoint her.
The Pioneer Woman. Ree is unbelievable – I can’t believe how many dang comments she gets every day. And her recipes are to die for. She won’t care that I’m giving her this award, she’s too busy making cowboy food and homeschooling her kids or reading all of those comments on her site. She’s amazing.
Jill Shalvis. I just love her books – and trust me, they are wonderful. So funny and she has such a distinct voice! I also love her blog and make sure to read it daily. Crazy stuff happens to her (she claims to channel Lucille Ball), stuff that shouldn’t continue to happen to one woman. Yet it does…
Stephanie Nielson of the Nienie Dialogues. I just discovered her only after hearing about the tragic plane accident she and her husband were in. So, so sad. I ended up pouring over her blog. Her children are so sweet and cute, as is Stephanie and her husband. Their story is such an inspiration of real love and romance and faith. Pray for them, their sweet family needs it. To learn more about their situation – I hear their medical bills (months of recovery is involved) are going to be tremendous, click the graphic below.
Suzanne McMinn and her Chickens in the Road bog inspired me to be a better blogger. At a time when I was just about ready to give up blogging overall, I went over to her site and fell in love with the mood she’s created there. I love the photos, of reading about her life on the farm in West Virginia. She’s funny too! And she has chickens and goats. I’ve always wanted chickens and goats…
