Vampy Contest Time!

12:54 pm • Filed under: New book fun!, contest

Okay I’m all about the easy. I think that really means I’m lazy but we’ll forget that for the moment right? Thanks…

So yeah, easy. Want to win a downloadable copy of my latest book The Vampire Oracle: Shadow? You do? Okay all you have to do is comment here, today’s post (I’m counting yesterday’s comments too because I’m nice like that). But I’m going to ask you a question. It’s an easy one I promise.

Tell me your favorite vampire book. It can be a series, it can be something old, something new, something obscure - just let me know what you like. What you can recommend. Share the vampire love, so to speak.

That’s it! Answer that question and you’re entered into the drawing. I’ll announce the winner tomorrow here on the blog. So watch for it and good luck!

Personally I’d run like hell if I came across a vampire who looked like that

I really enjoyed reading both books by Jeaniene Frost, in her Night Huntress series, One Foot in the Grave and Halfway to the Grave. She gives us a very sexy vampire named Bones, who will definitely have me coming back for more.

I love Colleen Gleason’s Gardella Vampire Chronicles.

  3. I have to say that I love Lynsay Sands, Kerrelyn Sparks, Charlaine Harris and Laurell K. Hamilton’s vampire series.

They are all about vampires but each author portrays them differently yet they are similiar and that for me makes them all uniquely HOT!

  4. I adore anything to do with vampires, but seriously nothing beats brahm stoker’s Dracula!

  5. Wylie says:

Oh, this IS easy — tanks!

My fave vamp book is anything that says “Black Dagger Brotherhood” and “J.R. Ward” on it. Take your pick… there’s six of them!

(But my fave was Lover Eternal. No, wait. Lover Revealed. No,… no, maybe Lover Awakened…

    The icon says it all.

Hmm…picking a favourite is hard - there’s so many good ones out there. I’m particularly fond of Lynsay Sands’ Argeneau’s, Christine Feehan’s Dark series, and Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight series is really good too.

  7. Rhian Cahill says:

I loved Night’s Journey by Mechele Armstrong. I think it’s book 4 in her Bloodlines series.

When are we getting pix of the conference?

I love that picture. LOL! I’d probably run from that vampire, too.

  9. I totally forgot to recommend a vampire novel!

I loved Amanda Ashley’s Embrace the Night because of the historical elements and it was a love story. I read some others by her, but didn’t enjoy them nearly as much.

I agree with Wylie, the Black Dagger Brotherhood series is great! Well, at least the one that I read was…and that one was Dark Lover. I never found the others to read them.
