My mind is wandering. After a frantic week of lots of driving (ouch - the cost of gas is killing me), lots of picture taking (graduations/promotions/whatever you want to call them) and money spent (birthday party! gas money! family dinners!), I’m tired.
So I’m doing mindless work like adding stuff to the columns here on my pretty blog, starting a Facebook account after talking about it for months and finally, finally updating my myspace page.
Writing resumes tomorrow.
Besides the mindless stuff I keep thinking I want to go to Paris. My great-grandma was from France - she met my great-grandfather during WWI when he was stationed in Germany. They met, fell in love and he brought her home to his home state of — Oklahoma. A few months later, they moved to California and the rest is history…
Paris is calling. And I want to go. Too bad the cost of gas is killing my travel fund.

Ah Paris… I’d love another visit. The city of lights, and art, and fashion, great food,…
Hmmm, want company, Karen??
Karen says:
Yes, yes I want company Wylie. Let’s go!
Willow says:
I ADORE your blog so much I just subscribed to your feed! Gonna add you to my blogroll too!
Karen says:
Thank you Willow! I’m so glad you stopped by. I’ll go visit you…
And I love the name Willow. I also like willow trees. LOL
Nancy says:
In lieu of the real thing, have you visited Paris Daily Photo? It’s a blog with a fresh picture of Paris every day, taken by a native who is good looking, personable, and also writes perfect English. Great fun.
Meg says:
Paris, oh my goodness! I want to go!!!
Emma Petersen says:
As a mother would you feel selfish going on a girl’s trip to Paris? I think me, you and Shello should go. We should totally plan a trip once me and you sale. (You’re next. I can feel it in my bone. Yes, just one bone but I can’t feel it none the less.
)
Let’s make a pact. Paris by 2010!
