Yes, that’s me. I think I was coming down from my RT high. Trying to play catch up, trying to finish up a novella and turn it into my EC editor (which I did yesterday - yay!), trying to catch up on LAUNDRY. Ugh. That’s a pointless fight in my house.
I was super exhausted over the weekend and I didn’t even have a reason why! But today I feel good. The laundry is (mostly) caught up, the house is (relatively) clean and even better - I am free and open to start writing something new!
That always gives me a little thrill. Oh I have a couple of different ideas to try out so I kinda know where I’m going but the thrill of a blank page, a whole new story, a new heroine to relate to and a new hero to love, that’s fun.
So what’s going on for your Monday?

I’m headed to RT. Leaving at the butt crack of dawn to hop that plane, head to Dallas (please lord don’t trap me in Dallas like you did last year) and then on to Pittsburgh. Yay! Don’t worry I’ll take pictures.

So today has been INSANE. And I apologize - I meant to get this excerpt up this morning but the day got away from me. I was running all over the place!

My second novella with Ellora’s Cave is coming out tomorrow! Yay! Stolen Hearts is linked to my first novella, Virgin Jewels, which came out in January. Stolen Hearts is the story of Hannah’s sister, Celeste. Boy was she a doozy.
Celeste Anderson doesn’t believe in love at first sight. She intends to marry someone with the same interests and financial aspirations, and have a neat, orderly life. But there’s something to be said for the thrill of the unknown—and when Alex enters her family jewelry store, her body decides it’s more than ready for a few thrills.
Desperate for his father’s approval, ex-jewel thief Alex Moretti reluctantly agrees to steal an antique diamond bracelet from a tiny, ill-secured shop. No problem for a pro like Alex—until he meets Celeste. Now the only thing he’s interested in stealing is her heart.
