Okay I love my Christmas book Fairies & Wishes. I wrote it last year for Cobblestone Press and it’s one of my favorites to date. I had so much fun with the heroine, Lily, and it’s both a sweet and sizzling hot holiday tale.
Hey it even got four stars from Romantic Times so that’s not so bad.

Lily is a holiday fairy, but this Christmas season she’s given a new assignment – teach a lonely doctor how to love again.
Tim finds the holidays depressing and always throws himself into his work to forget the pain. One night he runs into a beautiful redhead and knocks her to the ground. His new patient is a little odd, but totally sexy.
He starts a relationship with the mysterious Lily but things don’t add up. Is she what she seems? Does he want to fall in love with a woman he knows nothing about? Oh, yes he does…
Now for the contest. I’m going to give away a copy of Fairies & Wishes to one lucky winner but you’re going to have to work for it. Tell me what you want for Christmas this year. What are your wishes? Leave comments today through Sunday and I’ll draw the winner on Monday. So come one, come all, comment away!

I want an agent for Chritmas. I want her to be all kinds of smart and plucky, and I want her to fall completely in love with my voice.
How is that?
Karen says:
I want the same present as you Gwen! Sounds perfect!

This is one of my favorite covers of yours. Something about it is purely magical!!!
I have one particular publisher in mind that I’d love to join for the new year. It’s be nice to have a story ready for them by January, but it’s unlikely. Either way, that’s my wish. Too bad there’s not enough time in the days.

I love the cover for this book. It always catches my eye! As for Xmas wishes… well, I got my big wish today - you read about my parents signing off on a house. Talk about bringing some joy! Not having to worry about the parents is pretty big. Something just for myself, though, I’d probably wish for some quiet time. Time to just sit and think, or write. It seems like there’s never enough time to do the things I need to do and have creative time as well.
Anyway, I mainly dropped in to wish you a happy weekend. BTW, gosh, what a gorgeous EC cover! I saw it on the post below. Congrats!

Can I have the same present as Gwen too? Please??? LOL!
That is an eye catching cover, and I love fairies, so Christmas fairies makes it even better. Going to have to check that one out.
You actually got a good Jewels cover there. Releasing the day after my son’s 2nd birthday … hmmmm I know what I’ll be getting to gain back my sanity after a child’s birthday party. LOL!

Awesome cover! I am definitely buying this book. I’ll just add it to my ever increasing list of titles I want for Christmas. Now some of my Christmas wishes; I want my cousin who has severe diabetes to get better from a virus that put her in the hospital as well as the continued health and happiness of the rest of my family.

PS Happy Holidays!

This is the second Christmas since my husband moved out, and our anniversary is Dec. 30, so it was pretty rough for me last year. This year, I want to be peaceful and happy and enjoy my friends and family. I would like to have more energy and really put it into making my life better for ME.
I’d also like new mats for my car, a trunk organizer, some DVDs, books go without mention…….
Amelia says:
I agree that the cover looks awesome. I want that agent you mentioned Gwen. LOL
Beth aka Scifibookcat says:
The cover is amazing! I could use a new fridge, but would settle for a few days peace and quiet with no family crisis.
Hayley M says:
ROFL I want Gwen’s present too! Love that cover and I’ve now added yet another book to my want list.
Sarah Piché-Choquette says:
What I wish for Chritmas might sound a bit weird but I want my german boyfriend to stay here for Christmas since he wants to stay here but at same time he also wants to see his family in Germany so he hasn’t decided what he’ll do for now. (He’s here on a student exchange) If ever he decides not to stay here, I guess I’ll have to go to Germany for the holidays, still half a week to think about it. I already went there but I felt like staying home for Christmas…
Lee Morrison says:
Great cover, Karen! The story sounds wonderful too.
*Lee raises her hand for the “agent” Christmas present*

That has always been one of my favorite covers of yours!
