Busy but nice. Productive on the writing front - by the time today is done I will have submitted to two of my publishers. It was my youngest son’s birthday on Wednesday and we had the party Tuesday night at Chuck E Cheese. Utter madness. The kids had a great time. Their friends came and they played and played - me and the oldest earned lots of tickets and got ripped off at the prize counter. It’s all good.
Thursday I went ALL BY MYSELF to Barnes & Noble, got a bagel and a pumpkin spice latte (heaven) and read the latest People magazine without interruptions and without having to buy it. Talk about awesome! Then I went shopping - I found beautiful leaf plates at JC Penney (yes damn it I’m obsessed with leaves. I have issues, ok?) and a few other various items, including a giant pumpkin candle. I love pumpkin candles. Yummy.
But when will fall really BE here? I dunno, today is only supposed to be around 75 degrees but tomorrow is supposed to be 86? I’m sick of the heat. SICK OF IT. Listen to me Mother Nature! I keep writing in all caps cos I’m tired of hotness - I want coldness! Bring it to me NOW!
Watch, I’ll be bitching come January about the cold and wet. And the fog. Ugh. The fog. Ever seen the movie The Fog? And not that for crap remake they did a couple of years ago, but the real deal circa 1980. Love that movie!
Okay was this the most random post or what? Have a fab weekend! Tomorrow is my wedding anniversary. Six years! Time flies…

I’m out of control with wanting to decorate my house with various fall-themed items. It’s ridiculous but I have to say…damn you Target! Damn you HomeGoods! Damn you Pottery Barn! It’s all their fault!
Though I can’t damn Target too harshly since their prices are waaaay cheaper than freakin’ Pottery Barn. Sheesh.

This platter is $44 at PB. I got a similar one for $20 at Target this morning. Gotta love it!!
Of course, I want all of this fabulous fall stuff yet I’m begging my mom to host Thanksgiving this year. What gives? I’m tired of doing it, damn it!
Oh and visit me if you want to check out a pirate pic of Johnny Depp at the Naughty & Spice blog (click the purty box below). Cos it is National Talk Like a Pirate day and all. Aye me hearties!

Liana’s ready to shake up her sex life in a huge way – by pretending to be a paid escort for one night!
Mark’s never hired a call girl before but he knows something’s a little off about Liana. Can he figure out the truth before it’s too late?
Can I admit this is my most rejected book in history? That’s not saying it’s a piece of crap (well, I hope it’s not!), it’s just been in different forms, different lengths, etc. and finally Deanna at CP saw something in it and said YES.
So go forth and purchase. It’s kinda funny, a little romantic and a lot hot!

Click the icon above and chat with me over at the Sizzling Pens blog. I’m talking about inspiration and the quote I found in the Pottery Barn magazine. Who knew I could find something like that in Pottery Barn?
