I originally went through an ebay addiction back in 03 when I first really discovered it. I had dial up back then, and I would tie up the phone lines for HOURS. So long that one time my husband was out of town, my friend couldn’t get a hold of me (cos I was trolling ebay) and so she sent our neighbor over to check on me. He shows up at my doorstep at ten o’clock at night with a gun in his hand! They thought I died or something!
See how dangerous ebay is?
Shelli has been all over ebay lately (well so has Emma) and she even put a few items up for sale. She’s telling me people are watching her stuff, she hopes she sells it for a good price, etc. And it gets me excited. I tell her I have stuff to sell, I should do it too. She tells me to go for it.
So I do! I put up a few items (which took forever, talk about tedious!), set it all up. And I actually have people watching my stuff - and a bid! How exciting is this?
Ok maybe I’m the simple pleasures kind of chick but hey, this is fun. I’m checking my items all the time to see if someone else is watching them. Bidding on them, whatever. I’m looking around my house for other stuff to sell. The kids better watch out - THEY might end up on ebay!

You’re a sick, sick little e-bay wench.

I admit I love Ebay. I’ve been able to get some great computer gadgets pretty cheap.

I’ve never bought from ebay!

I love ebay!! Buy me somthin?
Isabelle Santiago says:
E-bay is like cocaine. All it takes is one hit. But seriously, the place is cult-like. People live and breathe that thing.
I used to, but I just couldn’t do it anymore. I didn’t have the money to be buying everything I wanted.

For some reason I never got addicted to eBay. I’ve bought stuff from there, but it’s usually as a last resort. But I generally suck at getting good deals so maybe that’s why I am so indifferent.

LOL! Ebay is definately addictive!!

I already have enough kids, thank you very much — so yours are safe from me.
I love e-bay. I’ve only tried to sell one thing (and that was for someone else). I should start getting rid of all the stuff in the garage (shhhhh….don’t tell my husband!)

I’ve never sold anything on Ebay–it must be quite thrilling. The only thing I ever won was some old concert footage of Heart in the 1970’s–man those sister kick rock ass. I got mad at eBay when a batch of vintage lingerie I was bidding on got stolen from me at the last minute, and haven’t been back since. Shame on you for reawakening my interest. If I get addicted, it will all be your fault…
Good luck with your selling.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!
Hubby is on a buy-fest on ebay at the moment. We haven’t done a sales binge for ages, but your comment about looking round the house to see what you can sell had me laughing out loud. Been there, done that. So bloody funny!
Hub got me a hardback Stephen King, The Cell, the other day for 2 quid!
:o)
