Hmmm

11:48 am • Filed under: Uncategorized

I had a hard time writing this post cos it means moving down the last post and that guy is just soooo sexy (fans self YET again). I think I’m in love.

So nothing’s going on with me. Just been busy with the pre-holiday chaos. Hubby was home for the last three days and we bought the two youngest bunk beds. Rearranged their room, took stuff to Salvation Army, I cleaned house like a mad woman, and I made fudge that turned out like crap. I think I cooked it too hot, and it kinda scorched and it turned hard and crumbly. Yuck. Bye bye fudge.

Today I grocery shop (not looking forward to this), finish cleaning house, maybe even attempt to make another batch of fudge (fingers crossed). My parents are coming tomorrow and will be here through the 27th.

I have no words of wisdom, no fascinating stories. I apologize. I might write one more post before Christmas here but if I don’t…

Fudge is always so hard to make. I haven’t attempted it in years.

    Merry Christmas, Karen!

I’ve never made fudge!! I need to try that…next year! I’ve been cleaning like crazy too. So much to do, so little time.

I’m getting ready to do similar things to get ready for the holidays. I don’t think I’m going to attempt making fudge. I never have much luck with it either. Hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday!

A few years ago in Girl Scouts we all had to make the fudge recipe that’s on the back of the whipped marshmallow jar. I was SSSSOOOO excited that I would finally know how to make fudge.

It ended up like fudge soup. . . never did set up. Kindof like the time I made a pecan pie with egg substitute instead of real eggs.

I once made fudge that was the consistency of frosting. Not sure WHAT happened!

i have to make fudge this year…now I am worried. I’m buying double the ingredients, just in case.

Yo, I can’t even make chocolate chip cookies over here. I bet your fudge was years better than my last batch of chocolate chip blech.

    Happy Christmas!

I never made fudge either…then again, I’m not a huge fudge person. I know, I’m abnormal.

    Have fun with your parents!

Fudge is a very slow process that drives me NUTS! Thank goodness I only attempt it once a year LOL.

Hope you and the family have a fabulous Christmas!!
