I’ve been staying up way too late, writing. And today I am really, really feeling it. I know my friend Sarah complained about this as well recently.
My head hurts, my back aches. My kids are whiny, which makes me feel like whining. It’s easy for an almost 2 year old to whine. He has an excuse. I don’t think I do, since I’m old enough to know better.
So I plan on doing nothing on this holiday weekend. Relax. Clean around the house. My parents are coming on Sunday so that’ll be nice. Do a little writing. Try not to stay up so late.
Hope everyone has a good holiday weekend. Anybody doing anything exciting? If you are, have fun!

I’m feeling you on the aches and pains - I sit at the computer all day for work, too.
Out of town for the weekend. My dh’s family is having a get together. But, my parents and my husband’s dad live in the same small East Tx town. Creates a lot of stress with my mom when we spend time at his dad’s, and vice versa. Hoping to come out of the trip unscathed.
Sounds like fun right??? And, I usually don’t get a chance to write there. I might have to take my laptop and make it happen for my own sanity this time.

Yes definately have some relaxing down time. It’s good to take a day off from writing sometimes, especially if it starts to hit you physically.
